Three new agencies will be operating in Jigawa State, according to the state’s executive council.
This was revealed to the press by Sagir Musa Ahmad, the commissioner for information, youth support, and culture.
He mentioned that the decision was made during a meeting of the state executive council, which was chaired by Governor Umar Namadi.
He further by saying that the resolution passed by the council comes after the State House Assembly received the Draft Bills on New Agencies.
He said that the laws were prepared for the Jigawa State Residents Identity Management Agency (JISRIMA) and the Jigawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency (JISITDEA).
Additionally, there is the Jigawa State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board, JISSEB, and the Jigawa State Tsangaya Education Board.
