In an unforgettable moment, Bayern Munich player Jamal Musiala’s father made fufu, a traditional Nigerian dish, for him to enjoy while he was living in England.

During an interview on Chef Serge Ibaka’s popular cooking show “How Hungry Are You,” the 21-year-old player spoke about his ethnic background.

The young sensation from Bayern, who was raised in Europe, attributes his deep affection for Nigerian culture to his father.

I get a wealth of information about African cuisine and culture from my father, who is originally from Nigeria. Musiala revealed during the presentation that her father used to make fufu on a daily basis when she was growing up in England.

“Our schedules have never allowed us to go to Africa, so I’ve never been there, even though I’ve always wanted to,” he said.
