Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, has stated that he and Mohamed Salah have “completely resolved” their disagreement.
In last weekend’s 2-2 draw against West Ham, Salah and Klopp got into an altercation just before Salah’s scheduled substitution.
The 31-year-old Egypt forward said, “There’s going to be a fire today if I speak,” when asked for an interview following the match.
Klopp, however, stated on Friday that: “There’s no problem”. We couldn’t be happier about it. It’s not a story at all.
Klopp, who has previously stated his intention to depart the club at the conclusion of the season, started Salah on the bench against West Ham and then substituted him in the 79th minute.
As Salah was warming up to make an appearance, Michail Antonio of the Hammers scored to tie the game at two goals apiece, effectively ending Liverpool’s title aspirations in the Premier League.
