Erling Haaland’s future with Manchester City is uncertain, but the club is keen to sign him.
After moving to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund for £51 million in the summer of 2022, Haaland has excelled in the Premier League for the past two seasons, winning the title in consecutive years.
There are three more years of eligibility for the Norway international.
However, Haaland is free to sign with any club outside of England for £175 million per clause in his deal with City, which came into effect this summer.
As per the UK Mirror, Haaland’s buy-out fee will now decrease every season for the remaining three seasons of his contract.
The Catalan manager Pep Guardiola has nine years and a plethora of trophies under his belt, but City are already making plans to survive without him when his current contract expires in the summer of 2019.
