Famous rapper D’banj has given credit where credit is due to Don Jazzy, who was a former associate and producer of his.

The ‘Oliver Twist’ singer acknowledged that Don Jazzy was an integral part of his creative development.

He revealed this on Tuesday alongside a video clip of his cordial visit to Don Jazzy, during which he presented the latter with the invitation card for his 20th anniversary dinner in the music industry.

He said the sentimental occasion brought back memories of all they had accomplished together.

“My 20-year journey cannot be complete without It’s @DONJAZZY again!,” D’banj captioned the video he shared on his X handle. An overwhelming sense of nostalgia washed over me as I extended an invitation to our anniversary supper.

In honor of our shared 20 years in the business, I can’t help but reflect on all the wonderful times and achievements we’ve accomplished together. Celebrating twenty years of camaraderie, joy, and constant encouragement. Always adoring you, Brother! Ah, SHeeeee.

In 2004, Mo’Hits Records was co-founded by D’banj and Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy stated that disagreements in interests were the reason behind Mo Hits’ disbandment in 2012.

Dbanj launched DB Record Label, while Don Jazzy founded Mavins.
