Prince Harry announces his intention to aid injured Nigerian troops on visit to Kaduna

While in Nigeria, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, has pledged to assist injured troops.

While meeting with Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani on Friday, Prince Harry made this promise.

In her warm welcome to the prince, Governor Sani lauded his solidarity with the Nigerian armed forces and his efforts to help wounded service members.

He said that the morale of the courageous and hardy troops and leaders will be much improved by such visits.

His argument is that Prince Harry’s visit demonstrates his desire to encourage healing, back rehabilitation efforts, and increase admiration for the Nigerian personnel.

While in Nigeria, Prince Harry expressed his intention to provide joy to wounded Nigerian troops and their families through the Invictus Games, an organization he established a decade ago.

In keeping with the custom of traditional hospitality, Governor Sani dressed Prince Harry in traditional Hausa garb and presented him with a number of gift items.

While in Kaduna State, Prince Harry and his entourage stopped by the 44th Nigerian Army Reference Hospital to meet with injured service members.
