On Sunday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, cautioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to approach the northern region of the country strategically, saying that they will not back his bid for a second term in office.

According to Primate Ayodele, President Tinubu would face a string of plots in the North, including the betrayal of those closest to him.

Ayodele warned that the zone’s leaders will collude, rendering Tinubu’s efforts useless, according to a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho.

Because the northerners will band together to oppose Tinubu, he will continue to face numerous challenges before to 2027. Even those closest to Tinubu will turn on him.

“Some of the northern leaders will launch an aggressive plot against him, regardless of what he does. He promised to give it his all, but that no one would take notice.

The president and Vice President Kashim Shettima will have a tepid relationship, according to the prophet, because of problems that will come from the north.

A major political loss and tension around the current administration’s push for a second term were his predictions.

Problems emanating from up north will cause Shettima and Tinubu to have a tepid relationship.

Both Shettima’s opponents and the northerners will conspire against him.

“The president needs to have a strategic approach with the northerners or else he’ll encounter numerous obstacles and political strife in the latter half of his term,” he went on to say.

Primate Ayodele continued by saying that the north will not see major progress until 2030 due to the zone’s weak infrastructure, education, and persistent insecurity.

Due to internal issues with development management, I do not see a resolution to the insecurity in the north until around 2030.

“Tinubu needs to keep an eye on the northerners because they will turn against him. Let’s be cautious so that the country doesn’t go through a Yoruba, Fulani, Kanuri crisis.”

Since northerners have actively opposed this administration’s plans for northern development, none exist.

“The north will be divided, impoverished in infrastructure and education, and they will continue to face insecurity,” he warned.
