Kenneth Gbagi, 62, passed away. He was a former governorship candidate and minister of education in Nigeria.
It was said that he passed away on Saturday.
His eldest son, Emuoboh Gbagi, verified this in a statement.

In the most recent election in Delta State, Gbagi ran for governor as a Social Democratic Party candidate.
Gbagi was unsuccessful in his bid for the governorship of Delta State in 2023, losing to PDP candidate Sheriff Oborevwori.
