Nigeria will overcome its security difficulties, according to President Bola Tinubu.
During Thursday’s inauguration of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Headquarters in Abuja, Tinubu made the promise through the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
The President expressed his unfaltering faith in the Nigerian armed forces and intelligence services, citing the steadfast dedication of service members from the DSS, NIA, and DIA as the foundation for his confidence.
“You have all provided irrefutable evidence that your solemn duty is to protect and serve our great nation,” he declared.
A top priority and sacred obligation, according to the president, is to ensure the safety of the entire nation.
As the principal source of intelligence for the country’s armed forces and the Ministry of Defense, he stressed the DIA’s key role in the country’s security architecture.
He thanked the agency’s current and former leadership for coming up with the idea and seeing it through to completion.
My deepest hope is that new ideas and approaches to intelligence collection will blossom in this illustrious office building, allowing Nigeria to remain one step ahead of its enemies and providing a safer environment for its citizens.
Everyone on the DIA team deserves a round of applause for how hard they work.
“I implore you to be relentless and proactive in laying the groundwork that will ensure the revitalized optimism agenda for a better nation that we all yearn for will come to fruition.
Finally, he reassured them that their country is behind them and values their sacrifices.
