Daniel Anjorin, a Nigerian schoolboy murdered in a sword assault in London, is honored by Arsenal

On Saturday, during their Premier League home match against Bournemouth, Arsenal honored Nigerian youngster Daniel Anjorin.

Tragically, a 14-year-old Arsenal supporter named Anjorin lost his life in the Hainault area of east London after being brutally stabbed with a sword on his way to school.

The teen’s murder was charged against 36-year-old Marcus Arduini Monzo.

In the fourteenth minute, the Emirates Stadium burst into cheers in honor of the adolescent’s devotion to Arsenal, as sanctioned by Anjorin’s family.

A banner reading “RIP Daniel” was also hoisted by supporters during the Premier League match.

As a “true scholar” with a “positive nature and gentle character,” Anjorin was lauded by his fellow students at Bancroft’s School.
