“This nice Nigerian’s video has gone viral, and it’s got a lot of people talking about how our communal assets are being vandalized and how it could hurt people if nobody does anything about it.

He painstakingly revealed how thieves are vandalizing this vital infrastructure of the 2nd Niger Bridge, endangering road users and posing a security threat to society.

I agree with him and many other patriots that the ongoing vandalism, breaking up of high voltage wires, theft of aluminum railings from bridges, and other forms of public property destruction are deeply troubling.

We have to denounce all of these criminal and sabotaging activities. Now that this important matter has come to light once more, I strongly encourage the government and security authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and hold those responsible for these crimes accountable.

Obi called on the appropriate authorities to punish individuals who damage public property severely.

To ensure the safety of critical public infrastructure, he demanded the establishment of trustworthy surveillance systems.
