The outstanding Premier League performance of Fulham this season has been attributed, according to defender Calvin Bassey, to manager Marco Silva.
In Saturday’s scoreless draw with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium, the Whites kept a clean sheet—their tenth of the season.
Fulham have also secured their spot in the Premier League for the upcoming season, even though there are still a few games remaining to play.
According to Bassey, the London club will have more success going forward under Silva’s leadership.
“The interruption [from injuries] wasn’t always helpful, but we’ve all maintained our concentration and had faith in the manager and the strategy,” Bassey said, as quoted by the BBC.
We are excited about what the future holds since what he has been creating is truly remarkable.
“We must maintain the manager’s work and adhere to those principles.”
After spending the summer with Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax, Bassey joined Fulham.
