Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is hell-bent on making sure his state develops sustainably in every way.
With the acceptance letter for the Governor of the Year Award (Infrastructure) bestowed upon him by Vanguard Newspapers, he conveyed the dedication in his office.
According to him, his government is determined to set Osun on the road to sustainable growth by implementing a comprehensive plan for the state’s physical and digestive infrastructure.
An upgraded free trade zone for agro-industrialization, a new airport, a beach resort in the interior, a digital economy program, a strong climate change agenda, and a rebirth of the cocoa sector are all in the works.
For this honor, I am grateful to the editors and publishers of Vanguard Newspaper. Recently, I had the opportunity to spend time with Pa Sam Amuka, and I must admit that I benefited from his extensive expertise. I am even more convinced that all leaders should strive to serve the people selflessly after receiving this honor so soon after taking office, which is less than two years.
I have focused almost entirely on carrying out our five-point agenda since I took office. I mobilize my local and national networks to back our great Osun programs and projects. The fact that our efforts are being acknowledged fills me with joy.
